The property:  This is a beautiful large house that offers two rooms in the main house and a separate cottage on the grounds.  The decor of the house shows attention to even the smallest detail and the house is full of interesting items. The house features a library, artists studio, and private garden spa.  The gardens and grounds are truly glorious with the back drop of mountains and rolling green hills. The setting is idyllic. 
 

Your Hosts:  Peter and Bobbie Martin are a delightful couple that built Eden House on their return to New Zealand from Europe.  Peter is an Australian who was a financial trader and Bobbie is a New Zealander and was a London interior designer. Her talent is evident throughout the property. They will welcome you with the best of New Zealand hospitality and do all they can to ensure your stay is exactly as you wish it to be.
 

Location: Located in the beautiful area of Nelson close to the famous Abel Tasman National Park.  The house is set in 48 acres of gardens and pastures that are yours to wander.

Accommodations:  The guest rooms are large and have wonderful bathrooms. Every creature comfort has been thought of for your home away from home.    The private cottage has an upstairs bedroom and a downstairs lounge and sun area. The private deck is a wonderful spot to drink a glass of wine and soak up the scenery.

Activities:  Simply wandering the beautiful grounds is a wonderful activity.  Also close is the Abel Tasman park where a private boat can be arranged for a day trip in the park.  Trout Fishing  in the internationally acclaimed Motueka River for Brown trout is only 5 minutes away, a private guide can be arranged. The estate is set in the middle of many wonderful wineries so wine tours are available.  This area of Nelson is full of delightful restaurants, art galleries, white sand beaches, golf and tennis

Dining: The property is all inclusive of dinner, breakfast, alcohol and wines.  Each evening includes a gourmet dinner from superb local produce, including items form the Edenhouse Farm Pantry. Dinner is served in the large formal dining room. The wines featured here are excellent and a standard house wine is Cloudy Bay, a delightful and famous New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. There are other restaurants close to the property. Breakfast in the morning offers a full cooked to order breakfast.
